MRC – Early Career Researchers Symposium

Organized by Emily Crull, Pablo Trigo Mourino, and Josep Sauri, in partnership with Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry.

Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry (MRC), a Wiley journal, is delighted to announce the organization and sponsorship of the 5th edition of the SMASH-MRC Early Career Researchers Symposium, which will take place on September 13th, 2026, at the SMASH NMR Conference, a top-tier small molecule NMR conference.

The event will feature flash talks (3 minutes) by researchers from Academia or Industry. Preference will be given to students, post-docs and early-career scientists (less than 5 years of experience), but this Symposium is open to all. Topics might cover any field of small molecule NMR research.

Following the symposium, an MRC mixer event will take place to offer everyone – presenters and attendees alike – a friendly environment to gather and continue discussing great NMR research before joining the conference official mixer and dinner.

Do not miss out on an opportunity to present your work and expand your network! Register by indicating your interest while submitting an abstract. Further details of the symposium and the format of the presentations will be provided here soon.

For questions regarding the event, please contact SMASH registrations at smashnmrorg@gmail.com.
