Hotels & Transportation

SMASH has reserved rooms at the La Fonda Hotel as well as some at the nearby Hilton Santa Fe and the Hotel St. Francis.  Regardless of which hotel you are staying at all of the SMASH meals will be at the La Fonda.  Please follow the instructions below for making your room reservations.

Reservations at the La Fonda can be made either by:

• Calling the La Fonda reservations departement at 800-523-5002, select option 1

• Faxing the completed reservation form to 505-954-3599

• Reserve online

Hilton Santa Fe (Overflow Hotel)
Reservations can by made by calling the hotel at: 505-988-2811, ask to speak to either Dennis or Amanda in reservations.  Please make sure you let them know that you are attending SMASH.

Transportation

Currently there are no direct flights to Santa Fe, so to get there you must fly to Albuquerque and either rent a car or take the shuttle.  Sandia Shuttle Express has 12 pickups daily at the Albuquerque Airport and will drop you off at any Santa Fe Hotel.

American Airlines is adding direct flights to Santa Fe later this year, but only from Los Angles and Dallas/Fort Worth.  Also Delta will be adding a flight from Salt Lake City.
